At Placement, an Inguz appears on a Lightworker’s upper arm – a rune symbolising connection with the earth, coloured at its centre by whichever Sector the Aura has revealed for them. Arant, Flava, Hese, Rufa, Sappir, Tyros, Virens: seven names, seven talents, one Determinant Dozen Echelon governing all of them.
It is tempting to read Sector as destiny. The Academy discourages that reading, mostly. A Sector marks aptitude, not worth – though try telling that to a first-year comparing their Inguz to everyone else’s in the mess hall.
What the table rarely shows is how a Sector actually feels from the inside: the particular pull of Rufa toward lightning, the quieter, stranger certainty that comes with Sappir. That part, no diagram covers.
